On KCRW's Good Food: Why the Sweet, Boozy, Acidic Margarita Is the Perfect Drink

As an Angeleno, I felt so honored to be asked to come on KCRW’s Good Food show with Evan Kleiman. If you’re a fan of LA’s food scene, you know Evan Kleiman and look forward to her weekly lowdown on what’s going on in the food world. Of course I was nervous being interviewed by her, not just because I’m being asked questions again but because she’s an icon. But she’s so personable and down to earth, she made it a bit easier. At one point I was rambling, which I rarely do as I’m not much of a talker, but she had to say, “You know, you can pause so I can ask questions.” LOL! I thought I had to talk a lot but that made me relax a bit. Anyway, the episode I’m on is now out! You can listen to it here. By the way, I didn’t realize that when she asked me about certain recipes from my book that she actually wanted me to talk about how to make it. So I didn’t really. But at least they included the recipe for Big Bar’s Red Onion Margarita on their blog post!
