This Saturday, nonprofit Project by Project‘s food fest Plate by Plate 2013 will be taking over the beautiful Vibiana downtown. From the looks of last year’s photos it’s a fancy affair with folks in suits and evening gowns! The lineup of over 30 restaurants boasts foodie faves like Bestia, Petty Cash and Rivera. But you know I’m all about what the drinking situation will be like.

The Raymond’s 1886 will be serving up its signature cocktails in the VIP lounge.

  • **Vesper – **Ketel One, Bombay Sapphire East & Bianco Vermouth
  • **1886 Mojito – **Bacardi 8, fresh lime, fresh mint
  • **Medicina Latina – **Corralejo tequila, ginger, honey, lime
  • **Mamie Taylor – **Dewar’s Highlander Honey, ginger, lime and Angostura Bitters

And throughout the fest, there will be drinks by Ketel One and Veev and beer by award-winning local brewery, The Bruery. I’m thinking taking the Metro in might be a smart idea.

For extra-cocktail activities a cocktail competition will pit bartenders Deysi Alvarez (Paiche), Dino Balocchi (Littlefork), and Brittini Rae Peterson (Goldie’s) against each other while Matthew Biancaniello and Devon Espinosa judge their entries.

Tickets are still available for the event: $150 for general admission and $250 for VIP which gets you in the fest an hour earlier and access to the VIP Lounge. Every year Project by Project chooses a different charity to partner up with and this year it’s Asian American theater troupe East West Players.
