PKNY’s Tiki Takeover at Sadie
Tonight, Giuseppe Gonzalez of PKNY (Painkiller New York) joins other talented bartender with Italian first name and Spanish last name, Giovanni Martinez, at Sadie for a night of reimagined tiki cocktails and shenanigans. “There are no rules. If it is a great drink and it tastes good, we are making it!” says Martinez.

Nightmare City: City-Wide Horror Fest Debuts
Starting today Los Angeles will be gripped by fear in the form of a citywide horror fest. We’re talking 73 events of live music, horror movies, parties and more. Scream your head off at the Blumhouse of Horrors by the Paranormal Activity producers and get creeped out at the Dawn of Dead screening at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Free Pizza: Maximiliano’s 1st Anniversary
To celebrate its one-year anniversary, Maximiliano’s will be giving away 500 pizza coins good for a free pizza…on your next visit. Yeah, not as exciting as receiving an actual slice of pizza the day of but whatevs. It’s free. However, f you stick around at 8pm, you’ll get a slice of the homemade anniversary pizza cake.

Neat Bar’s 1-Year Anniversary
When L.A. cocktail ringleader Aidan Demarest celebrates an anniversary you know it’ll be goood. For his Glendale bar’s first there will be a backyard bbq, barrel-aged cocktails, gift bags and even the original opening bartending crew from way back in 2011.

Test Kitchen Returns
The popular pop-up restaurant series returns with a starting crew of Walter Manzke (Republique), Neal Fraser (The Strand House), Bestia’s pastry chef Genevieve Gergis and BLD’s pastry chef Mariah Swan. Heaven Hill Distilleries’ Release Party for Larceny Bourbon at Seven Grand
Leave it to a bourbon named Larceny to celebrate its release with straight razor shaves and hand-rolled cigars. Yup, this goes down at 7G where there will also be barbecue, magic, live music and of course cocktails featuring the bourbon of the hour. Since space is limited RSVP is required.
