At Bon Appetit’s event tonight, adorable Susan Feniger of Street will be on hand to sign copies of her new global cookbook STREET Food: Irresistibly Crispy, Creamy, Crunchy, Spicy, Sticky, Sweet Recipes. Cointreau’s Summer Poolside Soirees at Beverly Hills Hotel
In celebration of the Beverly Hills Hotel’s 100th anniversary (she looks good for her age, no?), the hotel has teamed up with Cointreau to host a series of pool parties throughout summer til August 24. Partake of vintage bar cart service, signature Cointreau cocktails, live music in the style of Sinatra classics and even synchronized swimming by the Aqualillies.

LA Street Food’s 3rd Annual Summer Tasting
Spend a beautiful sunny afternoon browsing the 100 food vendors at this year’s LA Street Food fest at the Rose Bowl. This year’s lineup includes trucks like Gravy Train Poutinerie, the Grilled Cheese truck and Kogi BBQ Truck and restaurants like Lazy Ox Canteen, Playa and Short Order. There’s an ice cream social, tequila tasting, wine tasting and Hendricks Gin cocktails. Word to the wise, though, splurge on the VIP tickets. You’re gonna want an hour and a half headstart plus preferred parking.

Angeleno Magazine’s 10th Annual Live & Dine LA
Angeleno Magazine will be hosting its 10th Annual Live & Dine LA event to celebrate the winners of this year’s restaurant awards. But the party isn’t so much about the accolades getting handed out, because then why would those not getting an award go? Nope, this party will have a food fest around the hotel’s gorgeous fig tree. Enjoy viddles from restaurant award winners Plan Check Kitchen + Bar, Papilles and Picca Peru and drinks from Pour Vous, Blind Barber and Handsome Roasters.

Galco’s 2nd Annual Summer Soda Tasting
A soda smorgasbord, “Poptails” and even a Seven-Layer Soda Pop Rock Cake made from sodas and candies found in Galco’s await you at this year’s summer soda tasting. This family-friendly event is a soda fan’s dream come true, showcasing everything from an authentic root beer recipe (from the Library of Congress) to the unveiling of a brand-new line of sodas. There will also be live music and comedy. Proceeds will benefit Friends of the Southwest Museum.
