I’ve been so bad and fell back on my weekend roundup duties. Sorry to those who actually looked forward to these, all two of you, heh. Anyway, back on track! Reminder: April Fool’s Day is on Sunday, trust no one.

1886 Bar’s Spring Cocktail Menu Debuts
The Raymond’s 1886 Bar is kicking off this gorgeous season with new nommy shaken, stirred, regional and seasonal cocktails. Marcos Tello’s Bittersweet Farewell will hit the spot with its London Dry Gin, homemade Passion fruit Syrup, fresh lemon juice and Campari. Or for something truly refreshing go for the carbonated cocktail, Rum Whistle with white rum and apple-celery soda.

Perfecto Rocher’s Paella Week at Lazy Ox Continues
The Lazy Ox Canteen kicked off a week-long celebration of National Paella Day on Tuesday but I’m excited about tonight’s menu because a Californian vegetarian paella is featured! If meat is more your speed, check out the Valencian “Fideua” with Santa Barbara prawn tomorrow or the Iberico Pork Saturday. April 1 will bring the country-style paella of rabbit, escargo, chicken and lima bean. Paella dishes feed two each and range from $26-$38.

  • Lazy Ox Canteen, 241 S San Pedro Street, Los Angeles (map). (213) 626-5299.

Last Day for Pacific Standard Time Exhibit: Visit 19 Museums for Free
How many museums can you visit in a day? How about 19? It’s free all day to close the Pacific Standard Time post-war art exhibit. Also, it’s your last chance to enjoy the secret PST menus at Rivera and Playa! Gotta try those cocktails, especially Untitled — Chicicapa, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino, Olorosso, grapefruit peel.

Blue Palms Brewhouse’s Grand Re-Opening Party
What’s not to celebrate at Blue Palms’ grand reopening? Come on! The return of a beloved beer bar, Pliny the Younger on tap and a ton of happy like-minded beer folk! For $40 you get a 10-taster wristband and get to take your pick of beers Pliny the Younger, Green Flash Palate Wrecker, Alesmith 2011 Decadence Cask and MORE! There will be a limited amount of free snacks and a food menu for purchase but I’m guessing since it’ll be crazy, eat elsewhere and drink here.

  • 12pm. $40. Blue Palms Brewhouse, 6124 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood (map).

Pig and Beer Dinner with the Beer Chicks at Urbano Pizza
Chefs Bruce Kalman of downtown’s Urbano Pizza Bar and Gavin Mills of Hollywood’s Wood + Vine will kick off the first installment of a series of Cooking With Friends Events. This event will feature a multi-course pork fest paired with beverages curated by The Beer Chicks Christina Perrozi and Hallie Beaune.
