A new social club that?s kicking off this Friday. Angelenos usually just go to bars and hang out but this takes it one step further and encourages social interaction. Xanadu 30th Anniversary Screening
The movie that made me happy to be a girl celebrates its 30th anniversary. Oy, I feel so old! But if you loved this movie, too, you have to go to this screening which has a costume contest and special guests. How awesome would that be if Olivia Newton-John showed up?

Angel City Derby Girls: Night of the Rolling Dead
Want to see a real-live reenactment of that MJ Thriller video but on wheels? Angel City Derby Girls are going to do just that. The girls will dress up like the many faces of Michael Jackson and the Thriller Zombies and take on each other in this horrific interleague roller derby bout.

Tiki Farm’s Opening Reception With 10 Years of Tiki Mugs and Free Mai Tais
If you?re into the Tiki culture you?ll love, Tiki Farm?s exhibit which will feature 10 years of tiki mugs. But the opening reception will have lots of free stuff, like free mai tais (30 gallons? worth), free beer and free pupus.
