Kegs & Eggs Brunch at The Fig
For the ultimate hangover cure, stumble on down to the Kegs & Eggs brunch at the Fig. For $37 you get a bottomless pint of artisanal draft beer and your choice of any egg dish on the menu. Hmm, which will it be? Chilaquiles, Eggs Benedict or an Irish breakfast of fried eggs, rashers, black pudding and soda bread? But if breakfast cocktails are more your bag, check out the Eggs and Bacon ($12) made with bacon-infused gin or the Bloody Maria ($13) with its bacon rim.

Demetri Martin at The Grove of Anaheim
OMG, I LOVE this comedian. Don’t know who he is but he looks vaguely familiar to you? You’ve probably seen him on Flight of the Conchords and he’s in that new movie about Woodstock. But he’s probably best known for his ambidextrous skills on stage and his whimsical humor. I had tried to get tickets to his show at the Henry Fonda Theatre earlier this year but that sold out right quick. Fortunately there are still tix available to this show in Anaheim. Woo!

  • Doors 6:30pm, show 8pm. Tickets: $35. The Grove of Anaheim, 2200 East Katella Avenue, Anaheim (map).
