Thursday, June 11

Martin + Osa Charity Shopping Event 
Shop “refined casual” wear for 20% off while sipping cocktails at this charity event that benefits the Fashion Forward Foundation. You may even get to win a surprise gift! And if you are one of the first 20 peeps to walk through the door you’ll receive a $25 gift certificate!

LA Metblog’s Hot Dog Death March
Wiener fans rejoice! Thanks to LA Metblogs you can gorge yourself on Pink’s, Oki-Dog and Skooby’s hot dogs all in one afternoon alongside other crazy hot dog-loving folk. But the hard-core of the brats pack will dress up like dogs and pen hot dog haikus for a chance to be the wiener of prizes, like Dodger game tickets. BTW, this is a great opportunity to cross Pink’s off that L.A. bucket list!

Summer Bender Series
Work toward that bikini bod by dancing at this music-packed downtown event featuring outdoor and indoor stages and djs and live music galore. With an all-night open tequila bar and free tacos, you’ll have plenty of sustenance to get you through the evening. Free to get in, just RSVP here.

The Lek’s Gourmet Pizza Making Party at Surfas
Aspiring Silvertons and Pucks will want to try out their pizza combination ideas at this singles pizza party. The Surfas kitchen staff will provide the gourmet fixings as well as guide you through the intricacies of pizza making. And the exec chef will be on hand to help you pair just the right beer and/or wine with your creation.

3rd Annual No Cookie Left Behind Bake Sale 
Oh my, soo many goodies in one place at this annual bake sale that benefits Share Our Strength, an organization that combats childhood hunger in the U.S. Not only is it taking place in front of Scoops but it’ll feature the baked goods donated by the likes of CakeMonkey, Lark Cake Shop, Kiss My Bundt and Taste on Melrose. Gather some treats for that Lakers game house party!
