$1 Dishes and Drinks at Luckyfish’s 1-Year Anniversary
In celebration of its one-year anniversary, Luckyfish, conveyor belt sushi restaurant, is charging one dollar for every dish on its moving belt. That’s over 60 types of dishes to choose from — sushi, nigiri, salads, tempura, edamame, carpaccio and desserts. Thirsty types will appreciate the $1 soju, soju cocktails, beer, wine and sake. I know where I’m having lunch, happy hour, dinner!

Popomomo 09 Fall/Winter Collection Film Short
A fashion show, short film, Nancy Drew and $5 bourbon and ginger? What more can a hipster ask for? Spring Wine Fest at Farmer’s Market
The Original Farmers Market is throwing its very first wine fest thanks to Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market and the Farmers Market Beer and Wine bars. Sample over 50 domestic and imported wines, beers and cheeses. There will also be a raffle.

Free Kogi BBQ Demo at Surfas
What’s the secret behind foodie and Twitter phenom Kogi BBQ tacos? Find out at the free one-hour demonstration at Surfas in Culver City. Chef Roy Choi and co-founders Mark Manguera and Caroline Manguera will prepare their famous Korean BBQ tacos AND the Kogi BBQ taco truck will be making a rare daytime appearance and park there from 12 to 4pm! No reservations required but if Kogi’s everpresent lines are any indication, it’ll be a zoo.
