Don’t get mad at me, I’m already mad at myself for finding out about this just now. But the L.A. SantaCon is this Saturday. You know, SantaCon, it’s when a bunch of folks get together in various states of Santa dress and create merry mayhem by going on an organized barhop throughout the city. The fun factor is, of course, being one with a red sea of drunk Santas.
The barhop route is kept a secret until you buy the sleigh pass ($21 covers the cost of the buses, I mean, sleighs). Since the event is this Saturday, the deadline for buying your pass is tonight at midnight. I know, I know! But if you want to go it shouldn’t take too long for you to make that decision. So get a cheapie Santa suit, grab some friends and jump on this sleigh ride to sin, baby!
The after party will be at the Bootie LA holiday mashup party at the Echoplex.
BTW, if you do go, make sure you wear comfortable shoes, bring a flask of your fave booze to keep out the chill and carry cash to buy food and drinks and you will have a very happy holiday indeed.
