Wanna hear a really dirty joke? Apparently, “The Aristocrats” is the worse one yet. Born from Vaudeville and kept alive by comics trying to one-up each other, it’s an ever-evolving joke shared privately by comedians. I haven’t seen the 2005 documentary about this joke but I saw South Park’s variation of it–which of course involved incest, feces and babies as sex tools–and, let me tell you, it ain’t for the easily offended…or, even, the not-so-easily offended.

The joke always starts off the same way: Family enters a talent office and says they have a great act. Agent says, after some pleading by the family, OK, show me your stuff… That’s when things get dirty. And offensive. And downright vile. Oh and pretty damn funny too. As you can imagine, the family (mother, daughter, father, son, baby, dog, grandfather, grandmother, etc. at the will of the joke-teller) begins to participate in acts that would make Larry Flynt blush.

Well, on Monday, December 12th, leave your morals at home as you prepare to not only watch The Aristocrats at Mann’s Chinese Theater but partake of a live discussion with not-shy comedians such as Sarah Silverman and Andy Dick who will be appearing in person to discuss the movie and the never-ending pursuit of telling a joke. Oh yeah, it’s going to be that kind of night.
