Don't Be a Butthead: Great American Smokeout Benefit Show at the Knitting Factory

— by Caroline on Crack

Nonsmokers ballEvite.com, American Cancer Society and Kaiser Permanente are coming together for a benefit smokeout. No, not that kind of smokeout, the kind where smokers aren’t looked upon too kindly. But for a mere $10 not only will you get a night of laughter and swinging tunes presented by some of the best in the biz but you will support a good cause. Proceeds from the event will go to the American Cancer Society to support cancer research.

Non-smoking performers will include comedian Paul F. Tompkins (could have sworn he smoked tho) headlining the comedy hour and LA Weekly‘s Best Pop/Rock Band of 2005, The Sugarplastic.
