The Greek Theatre and Gibson Amphitheatre are launching a special for all you live music fans this month. The club is called Premiere Marquee Club. You don’t have to pay a membership fee or purchase a prepackaged group of shows to become a member.
Instead, your level of membership is determined by how many shows you buy tickets for: 3 or 4 events for Silver level, 5-7 for Gold and 8+ for Platinum. Not sure how these are different from one another, though, in terms of what sorts of benefits you get for being a Platinum member as opposed to Goldmember. Heh.
What you get is guaranteed seating for every show at the Greek and Gibson for 2008, advance notice of events, no waiting in line for tickets, money-saving parking option at the Gibson and an express concession service.
Here’s the lineup for 2008. If you can find three shows you want to check out, it may be worth doing. Personally, I liked the MTV Movie Awards, maybeee Save New Wave with a bunch of New Wave cover bands, 311/Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu and the Roots and Earth, Wind & Fire with Macy Gray.
The order deadline is Tuesday, March 25.
